Nigerian Afropop star Mr Eazi teams up with Ghanaian-American singer MOLIY on his latest single, “Comfort,” a smooth and buoyant Afro-fusion record that brings together two distinctive voices connected to Ghana’s rich influence on contemporary African music.
Released on October 2, 2026, “Comfort” sees Mr Eazi return to the relaxed, rhythm-driven sound associated with his Banku Music style, while MOLIY adds her own soulful and melodic touch to the collaboration.
Produced by Nigerian hitmaker Ragee, the record is built around a bouncy rhythm, bubbly bass elements, and an easygoing groove. The production brings together Afrobeats, dancehall, hip-hop, and R&B influences while maintaining a smooth and accessible atmosphere.
Mr Eazi delivers his familiar laid-back vocal performance, while MOLIY brings a brighter and expressive presence that complements his style. Their vocal chemistry gives the record a natural back-and-forth that keeps the song engaging.
Lyrically, “Comfort” explores romantic closeness, attraction, reassurance, and the emotional support that can strengthen a relationship. The song approaches these themes with a light and affectionate mood rather than an overly dramatic presentation.
One of the standout qualities of the collaboration is the connection between Ghanaian and Nigerian musical influences. Mr Eazi’s long-standing relationship with Ghana’s music scene and MOLIY’s emergence as a Ghanaian-American voice make the collaboration a natural meeting point between two generations of African musical expression.
The release also arrives with an official music video directed by Ademola Falomo, adding a visual dimension to the song’s relaxed and playful character.
With “Comfort,” Mr Eazi and MOLIY deliver a warm cross-border collaboration that combines melody, rhythm, romance, and contemporary Afro-fusion while highlighting the continuing musical connection between Ghana and Nigeria.
