Early Life and Education
Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, was born on July 10, 1985, in Tema, Ghana He grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to various genres of music from a young age. Sarkodie attended Tema Methodist High School and later enrolled in IPMC, where he studied graphic design.

Sarkodie’s music career began in 2005, and he gained recognition through rap competitions, including Adom FM’s popular rap competition Kasahare Level.
